How to use the NiceWaves application ?

First of all, you will need an Apple iPhone® 4S or later generation to run the NiceWaves App.

NiceWaves App is available on the Apple App Store℠ and can be downloaded by following this link or by scanning the QRCode on the previous page.

Once you have NiceWaves installed on your iPhone®, touch the icon on the screen to start the application.

On the website main page, click on 'Create Account'. An account is required to be able send updates to the NiceWaves database.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail when your registration is successful.

On the NiceWaves App, touch the 'Settings' banner and scroll the screen until the 'Web Database' section.
Enter your login and your password in the appropriate fields.

Make sure your sensor is powered on and set in 'discoverable' mode.

On the application main screen, touch the 'BLE Demonstration' banner. A new view appears displaying available profiles.

Banners and fields are updated when a new device is found. Once your device has been found, touch the 'Health Thermometer' banner.

The current view displays found devices that are compatible with the selected profile. To connect a device just touch its banner.

If a 'Bluetooth Pairing Request' alert appears, choose 'Pair'.

When the connection is successful your device is added in the 'Connected Devices' section.
Some pieces of information about your device are available as a subtitle but you can touch its banner in order to have access to more information and interact with the sensor.

You can modify the measurement interval (time interval between temperature updates) by moving the slider.

If you want to disconnect your sensor, simply touch the 'Disconnect' button.

By touching the 'Send' button in the navigation bar, you can send the current temperature data to the NiceWaves database.

'Server Answer' alerts are displayed to inform you about the success of database's update. If an error has been detected, alert displays the reason for this error.
You can avoid these alerts being displayed by switching OFF the 'Display Server Alerts' parameter in the NiceWaves' settings.

You can also choose to automatically send temperature data ('Auto Sending into DB' and 'Sending Interval' parameters).
